INTRODUCTION
My Potentia is the world’s most comprehensive language free, culture fair, digital assessment tool for measuring a person’s potential, capability and trainability.
My Potentia does not require language, literacy, numeracy, any level of formal education or prior understanding or experience of a test environment.
HISTORY
My Potentia is the digital version of the Q Test, which was originally developed by Emeritus Professor George Kearney, a highly respected psychologist. The early applications of the Q Test (non-digital), developed by Professor Kearney were in Papua New Guinea, post WWll where the Australian Defence Force had to work across approximately 720 distinct language groups to select suitable candidates to form a military division.
Following further development, the Q Test has been used extensively in the resources sector (Aust, PNG and SE Asia), with a particular focus on supporting people with barriers to selection for education/training and employment opportunities. In short, the Q Test has had significant and particular success in assessing people who may have presented with barriers such as low levels of formal education, low literacy levels and first language interference.
My Potentia has been extensively validated against the Q Test and is recognized as a psychological assessment instrument. Its digital application makes it a far more accessible instrument than its non-digital predecessor. Professor George Kearney oversaw the validation process for My Potentia.
